Commercial Bike Hoops

We are the University of Michigan specified bike hoop manufacturer. As well as Oakland University, Aldi Foods, and multiple municipalities.

Our maintenance-free bike hoops can be installed either in-ground or surface mount. Each individual hoop has a two-bike capacity. They are manufactured using 1.5” Schedule 40 pipe 1.90” outer diameter. Our finished product has a 12” outside radius standing 4’ high (in-ground mount) and 3’ high (surface mount), weighing approximately 24 lbs.

Our coating is a polyvinyl chloride thermoplastic over a thermoset vinyl primer to ensure a complete crosslink bond at a thickness of a minimum of 100 mils. The final finish results in a durable, sleek finish in matte or high-gloss. They are available in a variety of colors, although our black has been the most popular.

For architects’ and engineers’ convenience, our bike rack Model No. 2447 and 2447-S specifications can be uploaded onto blueprints or printed.

“The University of Michigan adopted the loop bike rack as our campus standard over 25 years ago. We currently have 4,200 of the loop racks on our Ann Arbor campus. The rack is popular to use and provides flexibility in locking methods. I have always been satisfied with the professional service and the quality of the product.”
